I'm guessing that is the 24 inch

Looks good. Any idea who makes it? Is it an oem Vision or KJ. How much? What size large or XL?

It's not a Vision or KJ, Pit Boss is the brand.

Another new brand on the Aussie market. Good to see. Can't wait to hear from someone who bought on how good it is. -

Pit Boss are part of Louisiana Grills, they use the Pit Boss name for I believe the units sold out of Costco etc

Price is $990 seems like good value to me...

Definitely if it an XL. Hopefully this will put some pressure to reduce the ceramic prices as they have been rising over the past 18 months.

Ok, a bit of scanning and found the model printed on the photo of the instructions. It is a Pit boss 71240.
This is a 24" Kamado. No wonder I liked the size of this baby.
It seems to cost $899 US at Walmart, which if accurate would make our price of $990AU fantastic!

Here it is on Amazon, where there is even a customer review: Pit Boss 71240
I like the fact that the lower grill can be flipped open on one side to add wood chunks as you cook.

The Kamado market sure is exciting at the moment. We just had the phenomenal Akorn sale and now this XL for $990.
The only gotchas is there aren't too many Costcos around.
Hopefully all these great deals will introduce a lot more people to charcoal bbq's.

That's a good deal Narm might need to get a truck

Mate if I didn't already have a BSK it would already be on my deck!

Let's see if SB can work some of his magic and get the to drop the price to half and clean Costco out as well as Bunnings?

The RRP for the Costco for an XL 24" size Kamado at $990 is probably the best deal for a ceramic Kamado at the moment. The RRP of $499 for the Akorn with a 20" grill size is the cheapest Kamado. The cheapest large 18" grill ceramic is $1,000.
If you are looking for a ceramic Kamado and bigger is better for the best bang per buck this is quite a deal. Now like BBQ Smoke suggests, if we can get one on sale ...

Narm, any ideas on how to add a roti to one of these?

I'm afraid the only way I know is through the usual methods like I did here: Which Charcoal BBQ?

Saw one of these in person and it is super impressive! IMHO the VG kamado from Costco was great value previously and I think this is the same
