The road to the Pork and Cider festival BBQ Competition

I won't be waiting
diiscression the best form of valour -
It's a licensed venue so I think you know the answer.
However if it was hidden away and only bought out after the place has closed for the day and Joe public has left........That may or may not be my plan
I will be drinking something. Either the bars will have to stay open all night or I will have to bring some. Maybe they will be nice and give us a couple to tide us over.

Hi
I must admit I will have to be careful with cider, that does make me sick. Some beer will be handy. Just enough to "lube the joints".

News Update team member found, went missing sometime week 6 2016, when interviewed it was revealed his disappearance was that his proposal for engagement was accepted.
Seriously Congratulations and still being able to compete in the comp you must have an understanding partner thank you soon to be Mrs Lambshank.None of the team have met face to face as yet but had a few phone calls to discuss details so interesting looking forward to finally meating everyone.
Any way we have had some trial cooks and everything is progressing and timings are getting there, i have included a spreadsheet continually revised by our resident self confessed "Excel nerd", rev 7-8 or 9 i think anywho support for future SFaF teams (sharing is caring) @Dazza, @Narkee, @lambshank

Congrats Lambshank, but I do have some advice for you. This BBQer is coming up to anniversary number 16, and I'm sure some of our more seasoned campagainers will agree, you've now got an approx 6 month window to get all the bbq's you need now and in the future.
Get too it man, the future of your families perfectly cooked steaks is now in your shoulders.
-
Thanks for the advice, it was actually the other half pushing for the ring she said 9 years being together it's about time!
As for future BBQ's i think i might have to set up an online funding campaign as the ring cost me enough!
-
1st is engagement ring
2nd is the wedding ring
3rd is the suffer ring -
1st is engagement ring
2nd is the wedding ring
3rd is the suffer ring4 rings
as above but you have the eternity ring as 3 and suffering as the 4th -
Congratulations Lambshank!

that could get out of BBQ control very easily with both people pushing for new BBQ what to buy next?
-
Yep, its a slippery slope for sure...
Pity neither of us are level headed -
Hi
My missus says that for every new bbq I buy I have to get rid of one. She thinks 6 in total is enough
