Decided that Sunday night = curry night at Gryller HQ.
Marinated some chicken breast in yoghurt and curry paste, fired up the akorn.
Threaded on to skewers and cooked flat out.
Mixed up some chapati dough and cooked up our akorn Indian feast.
Chicken went into a tomato, garlic, ginger & spice sauce on the stove.
Went down a treat with some dahl and rice
Loving my new akorn.

Thanks guys. It was very good!
I'm going to read up on how to convert my akorn into a tandoor. I remember seeing that around on the forum somewhere.
The sauce was a bastardised version of a rick stein butter chicken recipe. The full version includes brining the chicken in lime juice and salt and mixing a seperate spice blend for both chicken and sauce.
I wasn't feeling that energetic yesterday so I skipped the brine and just went with the jar of pataks.
Sauce I made was just ginger and garlic fried gently in ghee, tin of tomatoes and some curry paste.
Was pretty good!
