Great build, keep the pics coming. What fuel are you going to run the beasts with?
What I would give to have access to a stainless welding facility and boilermakers for a few brewing projects.
this is awesome! look forward to seeing the end result!
Good progress for 5 or 6 hours last night. Should be finished or close to it today.
Pretty cool the way that they can cut a round hole with an angle grinder. I was really impressed with that.
Plan is to run this on either charcoal or heatbeads. Pretty hard to get good wood out here.
Had a bit of a brain drizzle and wondering if we could somehow get a bit of a fire box under neath it somehow and make it into a faux offset?
If anyone has any ideas, chuck them up. This is a work in progress and we're more or less winging it as we go
Cheers, Wayne
@burb well played mate ahaha
Awesome build pics
Look forward to the next Ichthys update from Inpex saying work is delayed but they can now cook some mean BBQ
Looking forward to pics of it's maiden voyage.
With these guys skills, I would think they could cut out and put an off set fuel chamber on either side. I guess it would depend on if you could get a channel in the bottom for the smoke flow, and would there be room for tuning plates? Are you putting traditional exhaust stack on it?
I'm keen to know what size burners are going in it. Go Big.
