Portable Wood Pellet Pizza Oven, with a Rotatable Table inside

  • I made a portable pizza oven 3 years ago.
You can find it from http://www.allchinas.com/pizza
I dislike the design as I had to open the door, rotate the pizza, or one side would be burnt to black charcoal.
Remember the temperature was 300C, it was not nice to open the door, and opening door often effected baking process too.
    So I discarded the design.

A few weeks ago I find UUni 2.
It collected US$700K. WOW people like this portable wood fire pizza oven
I upgrade my old design with a Rotatable Table, which can be turned outside the oven
Also I introduce a drawer type fire box, which is easy to add wood chunk/chip, pellet, charcoal
You can turn you pizza every 30 seconds without opening the door.
    The pizza is baked evenly.

    PizzaRo: Wood/Charcoal Burning Pizza Oven

Main body is made from 2 mm stainless steel plate.

main body size 20"x 13"x 6". good for 12" pizza

    Ex-works Beijing $200

DHL shipping cost to U.S. $110, which will take ONE week.

Shipping cost to other countries will be a little higher

    UNIQUE FEATURE:

Inside the oven there is a Rotatable Table, which can be turned manually outside

This way the pizza will be baked EVENLY, will avoid one side burning to charcoal

and the other side is still raw dough

  • Just find UUNI 3 is ready. Selling price on eBay is US$299 to US$700+.
Not much change except fire box.

Still I think that my turnable table is a great innovation.

But why people buy UUNI than my design of PizzaRo.
I am open to any cristics, and will do any upgrade

  • The look of the UUNI (and Rocbox) design is more what people expect from a Pizza Oven.

UUNI does not use a fan.

UUNI is a bit higher in the cooking chamber.

UUNI and Rocbox both have done extensive marketing, so more people know about them.

PizzaRo is AU$403 UUNI is AU$399 plus local delivery.....so not much price difference.

Thanks a lot. I will take into consideration in next model.
#1. Fan is optional. With a fan, to light wood is an easy job.
Read reviews on Amazon, UUNI has difficult to start fire
Fan will blow ash up. So fan is only used for start fire. In baking pizza, fan will be disconnected
#2. I will raise height in cooking chamber to 200mm.
#3. The video is lying. It shows great pizza done. But to get that result you must open door, take out the pizza, rorate 90 degree, and place pizza back the oven. You need to repeat these steps 4 times. But in its video, it shows only once. Also open the door, temperature will drop. The video does not tell this. It is said in reviews on Amazon
#4. Weight of UUNI is 10.5kg. Weight of PizzaRo is 14Kg. DHL shipping cost to Australia with big discount must be well over US$120. Sad I can not do better on price

#5. I used PizzaRo 3 times now. I am more certain that a rotatable table is a grat feature.
People simply do not realize how good/necessary the rotatable table is.

  • UUNI uses gravity feed burner. I do not think it can burn wood chunks
PizzaRo uses drawer type fire basket. You can use pellet, charcoal and chunks.
You just add fuel before each pizza.

In next model I will make rotatable table Optional.
If no rotatable table, weight will be lowerd to 10 Kg.
This way cost can be lowered US$20 to US$30

  • Price reduced to US$158
will be sent by DHL economic delivery, which will take 2 weeks.
US$158 is just for this very first model, USED, which I used 3 times.
Overall it is great. Much better than UUNI if you are serious about an Italian style pizza.
To have good heat insulate you can put a few pieces of brick on top.
Looks not very nice, but it works.

Next model will have double walls on top.
Side and bottom walls are still single.
DHL economic delivery has a very low promoting price right now.
This offer will be validate till DHL ends promoting price.
    It is only for Australian.

  • upgraded to automatic rotating.
Just add a motor of 12 VDC, 3 RMP
