I'm out for this round. Don't think there's a single Asian inspired food I like. Except maybe dim sims and even then I prefer steamed.

Ha Ha. Nup. I like it in my square. Looked at that link and triple nup. Rice, still don't like it. Mango? Gawd I hate it like UG hates pineapple. Chilli? I don't even like pepper.
But thanks for the link. -
Chilli? I don't even like pepper.
I think I would top myself if I couldn't have either of these with my Q...

I can put up with a bit of pepper, like when I do 50/50 salt/pepper on a brisket, but I don't add it to anything I eat. Not out of a pepper shaker. I am seriously boring when it comes to food. -
Waddya reckon will play best?
Sang choi Hector - wasabi ginger pulled pork, beggars chicken,
Korean twice cooked short rib tacos - masterstock braised/ seared w gochujang mayo, Kim chi
Rotisserie Nashville hot chicken bao, Aji Amarillo mayo, tsukemono
I've done most before in some way shape or form and each are items I've contemplated having on the menu albeit with changes to fit into this theme
-
I'll have a plate of each with some steamed Bao buns please.

Excellent choice sir
-
I don't even know what these things are.
" gochujang, Kim chi, bao, Aji, Amarillo, tsukemono"
-
I know Boa, Kimchi and Tsukemono...They have good Chicken Fried Steak in Amarillo, but I don't know the others!
-
The only one I didn't know was Aji Amarillo mayo... But after a quick google it turns out it's a fancy way of saying chilli mayo
They all sound great Hector!

" gochujang, Kim chi, bao, Aji, Amarillo, tsukemono"Given your stated preferences that's understandable
respectively Korean fermented chilli paste, Korean pickle (usually cabbage but not always), bao = Taiwanese bun, Aji = Latin American for chilli, Aji Amarillo = a yellow chilli native to Peru OR Aji Amarillo = also the name of a green dipping sauce primarily made of jalapeno, coriander and funnily enough Aji Amarillo paste but which is always on the table at my place, tsukemono = japanese pickle
The only one I didn't know was Aji Amarillo mayo... But after a quick google it turns out it's a fancy way of saying chilli mayo
They all sound great Hector!
true that - Its basically a thicker version of the second definition of Aji Amarillo
-
Those tacos sound awesome!

I do not cook Asian very often so I am gonna need to think this one through. Have always enjoyed that Phở...Not really sure how you do a noodle soup on a pit and make it relevant though...
