IMO most of it is MARKETING hype really.
Wagyu, Cape Grim and Angus in most cases is only a marketing name ploy.
I have tried them all except for the Waygu, wouldn't be bothered paying those prices on Waygu.
In summary I have had a great pieces of selected standard yearling brisket that has eaten as good as any of the expensive cuts I have tried to date.

When the term grain fed is used over here it usually refers to corn. But the feed lots here (maybe there too?) have become so modern and sophisticated with their feeds it will have all kinds of stuff in it. We produce a lot of High Fructose Corn Syrup and Ethanol, those produce huge amounts of byproduct that are used in the feed, along with milo, barley, etc., as well as roughage which may consist of alfalfa, corn stalks, sorghum, or other hay. When I worked in California in the Securities industry, I had one client that made custom feeds, they even used chicken byproducts, including the chicken manure (they are fed grains and their systems do not process all of it), blood and even the feathers were blended into custom feeds!
Interesting that it is a corn feed.Do feedlots in the US corn feed not grain feed?

Harvey Beef grow "maize" and sell it to feedlots. it looks like corn fields, but doesnt have the cobs growing... The cut it just before it starts growing brown, then cut it and wrap it in plastic before shipping...
