Hi all.
Planning to do a 4.2kg pork butt in the new Traeger.
Would I be looking at about a 10hr cook?
Any input welcome.
Thanks.
GG.

at 225F it would be more like 15 hours plus resting

The last butt I did was from Costco. 3.2 kg, 10.5 hours, no wrapping to get mid 90ies internal. On a kettle doing its thing, so probably cooked between 110 and 130, depending on wind strength and the migration of the monarch butterflies... Actually cooked quicker than the boneless rolled shoulders I have done from Colesworth previously though...
You are nearly 1/3 bigger again, so yeah definitely several more hours like Hector said!

Play it by ear GG, I'd check it after 10 hours and see how wobbly it feels and how easy it is to move the bone. For the last one I did, I ran at 85c for the first 4 hours or so from memory and then increased to 105c for another 7-8. Pulled well and had excellent rendering of the (thankfully still present) fat. Could have probably used another hour to really tumble by itself, but I pulled it just fine.

There meats are of a tremendous quality here, it looks like it is the same at the Costco's there! Are they packaged where they say where they are from? Are the majority if not all from Australia?

Yeah packing normally says Aus Beef/pork etc.
Also random fact all pork with a bone in it is Australian as you are not allowed to import pork bones into Australia.
