Wandering through the butchers looking for something to do in the kettle with the Snake method. We're still hard at it ine the backyard so needed something that would look after itself.
They had some boned out Lamb Shoulders that looked pretty good so lamb it was.
We set the snake up with smoking wood and some rosemary on the heat beads. Being cold with just a slight wind I couldn't get the temp up above 170F. Moved the kettle around the corner and it immediately started to rise to the target 225F Later the breeze swung around and the temps dropped a bit again so we moved the kettle once more and got it back to 225F. I can't wait to get the BBQ Hootchie finished!
