Pork Shoulder in the Weber Kettle

  • PORK SHOULDER

We cooked up a rolled pork shoulder for tea. I was busy buggering around building a fence so went with the kettle and snake again. I had a bit of trouble getting the temp up to 225F though. Wondering if it's the heatbeads, they were from a new pack but maybe old stock? Had to add a few beads twice during the cook.

Anyway it came out pretty good. Looks a bit dry in the pics but was nice and tender.

Gave it quick hit in a hot oven to try to get it to crackle................. oops too hot/long
