Stayed home today to do a bit of cooking for my son's birthday. Problem was that I had lots to cook a very little will. It's 42c outside as I write this, so this is a job for the GMG Daniel Boone (it feels like cheating whenever I use it!). I had to keep everything "lazy".
Total prep time was 45 minutes, so bear with me if it isn't masterchef
- Chuck (my first time cooking it) with dalmatian rub
- Beef ribs with dalmatian rub
- Pork ribs with chipotle rub
- Focaccia
The DB can fit so much food! Everything went in at around 9am.
This is what it looked like after 4 hours (abour 1 and a half hours ago):
I foiled everything after 4.5 hours of cooking (one hour ago) and I added a little apple cider vinegar to the beef ribs and chuck and some honey/soy marinade to the pork ribs:
Dinner is not until 7-7.30pm. We'll see what we end up with.
