I've made a couple of simple Mods to my Pro Pit that I thought I'd share, none are difficult and they just make what is already a fantastic Pit a little better!
First time I did and serious volume of food in the Pro pit, I had a little fat leak down the legs, I was cooking Lamb ribs, so no surprise I had shedloads of fat to deal with!
I cleaned it out and found a tiny pinhole in the internal weld, At home I would not be concerned, after the second cook, it'd self seal from the normal cooking gunk, but for BBQ School, I decidet to get some Hi Temp Black Silicone from a motoring shop and seal it.
Also with that amount of Fat, I quickly filled the tomato can I was using as a drip cup, so I fashioned a bit of wire into a hook to hold my stainless steel bucket.
