The yummy cobs in this thread were inspiring, so I purchased all the ingredients and jumped in yesterday.
Cob was purchased at an excellent Greek bakery (I've never made bread). I filled it with a triple cream brie and smoked ham.
The cheese and the thick ham slices were first heated in the GMG. When the cheese reached the soft/gooey/melty stage I added it to the cob, plenty of chopped smoked ham and drizzled with cholula sauce. Rubbed EVOO on the outside of the cob, then into the GMG it went.
